FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Transcendigital LTD Continues Educational Support as Managing Director Serves on Executive Panel at AMA Event

(February 18, 2004, Avon, CT) Rhoda Cloutier, Managing Director of digital marketing agency Transcendigital LTD (www.transcendigital.net), provided members of the student
chapter of the American Marketing Association with insights into career development and the skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive marketing environment. Cloutier was joined by other senior marketing professionals from the healthcare, traditional advertising and pharmaceutical industries in an executive level panel discussion February 10, 2004 at Quinnipiac University’s School of Business.

Cloutier, with extensive experience in both the traditional as well as the online advertising and marketing arenas, was able to give the audience of marketing majors from around the state of Connecticut a valuable first-hand account of various positions within the industry, managing one’s career and searching for a job.

Cloutier believes strong communication and presentation skills are central to a job search, career and business development. “You’ll find that good networking and communication skills are essential throughout your career whether you’re looking for a job, finding new clients or building business relationships – getting out there and talking with people is key”. She adds, “Hone your presentation skills while you are in college, and before you enter the workplace. In marketing, presentations are a daily occurrence. Prepare and practice your approach – and make sure that what you present is backed by thorough research and a solid rationale.”

Cloutier strongly believes in this type of interaction with students in order to prepare them for the professional world once they graduate. “Networking should begin long before you graduate and virtually never ends”. Renee Gravois Lee, Ph.D. Advisor, American Marketing Association Student Chapter and organizer of this and other such events agrees saying “We have received very positive response from students about how much they gained from your insights.” For this reason, Transcendigital frequently makes its management as well as its staff available for educational speaking engagements.

Transcendigital provides digital marketing solutions for clients in a broad array of industries, including consumer products, financial services, engineering, healthcare, and hospitality. Major clientele includes The Hartford, FLIR Systems Inc., InkJet Warehouse,

Transcendigital LTD Supports University Marketing Program as Director of Technology Contributes Online Perspective to Marketing Panel

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Transcendigital LTD Supports University Marketing Program as Director of Technology Contributes Online Perspective to Marketing Panel

(Avon, CT February 18, 2004) On January 27, Quinnipiac University held a panel
discussion hosted by the American Marketing Association Student Chapter and the University’s Department of Marketing and Advertising. James Punteney, Director of Technology at Transcendigital LTD (www.transcendigital.net), a digital marketing agency, provided his insights into technology’s role in online advertising and e-marketing. Punteney offers a valuable perspective at a time when both student interests as well as university curricula are beginning to shift towards e-marketing and integrated marketing from the more traditional advertising media. The agency regularly makes its management and staff available for engagements such as this one in an effort to strengthen its ties to the educational community.

An accomplished digital marketing solutions designer, who was a member of one of the
nation’s first online advertising agencies, Punteney brought a wealth of experience to a full audience of at least 60 of the University’s Marketing majors. His technology experience began on the West Coast six years ago and includes the development of several proprietary digital marketing applications. This incredibly tech-savvy young audience is increasingly aware of the web as a valuable medium for marketing. James, a co-enthusiast and technical wizard, crystallized for them the link between cutting edge technology and effective marketing. The University has responded to this trend by including an e-Initiatives curriculum in its marketing line-up.

The panel was designed to facilitate a discussion about how students can prepare
themselves for a post-graduate career and to offer real-world insight into some of the practical applications for what they are studying. In addition to digital marketing, the six-member panel included marketing professionals from the healthcare, publishing, education and print marketing arenas.

“This type of contribution from Connecticut business representatives provides a
tremendous service to our students”, said Renee Gravois Lee, Ph.D. Advisor, American
Marketing Association Student Chapter. “This panel is a popular and worthwhile event each year because it makes marketing jobs “come alive” for our students and excites them about the different functional areas within marketing”.

Transcendigital’s ongoing commitment to the education of students in Connecticut is exemplified by the commitment of time, talent and other resources to the educational
community. Rhoda Cloutier, Managing Director, will be speaking at Quinnipiac on February 10, 2004 to an audience of marketing, advertising and communications majors at an event organized by the Student Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Marketing in a New World

Marketing in the 21st Century
Forrester Research predicts advertising revenues from interactive mediums, such as online gaming, will reach $1 billion by 2005. Establishing and maintaining relevance for your brand with today’s young consumer is essential. And there is no more cost-efficient or more effective way to build a relationship with than through brand centric and immersive interactive mediums.

Interactive Mediums, such as Advergames, can help generate leads, build long-term brand awareness, and increase site stickiness as well as repeat visitors. It is a cost effective tactic that any sized e-business should at least check into for possible inclusion in marketing efforts.

Today’s innovative youth marketers recognize that the way to reach kids (those under 40) is to give them something they can own, something that speaks their language and above all something that is fun and ‘cool.” These marketers take advantage of consumers’ devotion to videogames to create top-of-mind brand awareness and millions of impressions.

Interactivity is more than fun, it’s media that clicks!
